Maui *PRIVATE* Air Tour: Aquamarine & Emerald Dream: (2-5 People)

Maui looks different from the air. On this short private flight, the island’s sharp ridges, falling waterfalls, black lava fields, and offshore Molokini Crater fit into one sweeping view. You’ll ride in a very small plane, with a pilot providing live commentary through a headset.

I like the private group setting, since your party of two to five does not share the aircraft with strangers. I also like the porthole-style window, which gives you a clean way to photograph Molokini’s horseshoe shape and Maui’s changing colors below.

The main catch is time. Thirty minutes goes quickly, and weather or the flight path may mean you miss a particular sight, such as the Nakalele Blowhole. If you want Haleakala’s summit as well as its lava fields, you’ll need a longer flight.
